A Bonner County man has been arrested on three counts of rape, two counts of intimidating a witness and one count of first-degree kidnapping.

According to court records, a 13-year-old came forward in December 2022 claiming 18-year-old Trevor Randolph had raped her in his car after picking her up in the middle of the night from her residence. The alleged victim told police she wasn’t the first minor who had been raped by Randolph, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The alleged victim identified five other potential victims, one of whom – a 12-year-old – also claimed she was forcefully shoved into Randolph’s car, taken down a dark road and raped twice, according to court records.

Both alleged victims told police that Randolph threatened to hurt them if they told anyone what had happened, according to the probable cause affidavit.

When Randolph was questioned by police, court records say he claimed he has never had sex with an underage girl and that each sexual encounter he had with the alleged victims were consensual — and happened while he was still 17 years old. However, Randolph failed a polygraph test that was administered by police in March 2023, giving police enough probable cause to arrest Randolph on charges of rape, threatening a witness and first-degree kidnapping.

Randolph’s bail is set at $100,000 and a preliminary hearing is set for May 17.
