9U Sandpoint Strikers win Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament

The 9U Sandpoint Strikers (2014 Girls) soccer team won the Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament after defeating FC Missoula, 3-2 in a penalty shootout at the Plantes Ferry Sports Complex recently.
The team was tied 1-1 after time had expired, but the Strikers continued to fight. Coaches J.P. Huguenin and Tim Piehl helped lead the girls to the win against a tough FC Missoula squad.
