Hope Elementary hosts Spring Fling

HOPE — Looking for something fun to do?

Hope Elementary is hosting its 12th annual Spring Fling fundraiser today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition, the school is holding its annual bike rodeo from 10 a.m. to noon.

Hosted by the Hope Partners in Education organization, the event brings the community together to raise funds for the elementary school.

This year's event will feature a yard sale, plant sale, and bake sale as well as a barbecue lunch.

While the staff of Hope Elementary will be running the event, the students do their part by contributing items for the yard, plant and bake sales.

While the event brings needed funds to the school and its programs, PIE officials said the biggest benefit comes from the community involvement, giving the students a chance to see how supported they are.

Spring Fling will be held May 20, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hope Elementary School, 255 Hope School Road.
