NIC board meeting Wednesday
COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College trustees will convene Wednesday night for the regular May meeting.
The board is expected to meet in executive session at 5 p.m. in the Driftwood Bay Room of the Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus. The public session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room upstairs.
Public comment will be accepted from those who attend the meeting in person and may end at any time after 30 minutes. Comments are limited to two minutes per person and must address a topic on the agenda.
New business on the agenda includes adopting the board’s response to votes of no confidence from staff, faculty and students, as well as an action item titled “Remove Vaccine Mandate for Head Start Program.”
Trustees Tarie Zimmerman and Mike Waggoner will present a report from the board policy subcommittee.
Information items on the agenda include board evaluation, president’s evaluation and an update on legal services.
