City of Dover 12-inch Water Main Extension – Phase II
will be received by the Owner at Dover City Hall, address listed above, until 1:00 p.m., Thursday June 1, 2023, and then at said location and time, publicly opened and read aloud. Mailed bids shall be mailed to the Owner’s address listed above.
A non-mandatory pre-bid walk through will be held at the project site on Thursday May 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
Work associated with the proposed project is generally described as follows:
SCHEDULE A: 12-INCH WATER MAIN EXTENSION – PHASE II – STA. 19+00 TO END Construction of 12-inch water main from approximate Sta. 19+00 at the east end of Loretta Lane to connect into Phase I section of water main at approximate Sta. 27+89. Construction from Sta. 10+00 to 19+00 is by others.
Interested bidders may obtain bid documents at www.to-engineersplanroom.com. Electronic documents in PDF format may be downloaded for no cost. Bid documents may be ordered in hard copy format for purchase at cost (nonrefundable). To automatically receive addenda, bidders must download or order hard copies through www.to-engineersplanroom.com. Bid documents will be made available after 12 p.m., Thursday May 11, 2023. The Engineer will maintain a PLAN HOLDERS LIST.
A BID GUARANTY of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required. Separate PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required. Each bidder must supply all the information required by the Bid Documents and Specifications.
No contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor shall be required to have a current license as a Contractor in the State of Idaho in order to submit a bid or proposal on this project; prior to award and execution of the Contract, the successful bidder shall secure a PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE.
All prospective bidders are directed to the Instructions for Bidders for discussion of Bid policies, procedures, and requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., to consider the following requests:
File UP23-098, Walmart Real Estate Business Trust, Special Use Permit, Retail Space over 20,000 sq ft: Wal-Mart is requesting special use permit approval in order to bring a legal non-confirming or “grandfathered” use into compliance with current land use regulations and allow for expansion. Ponderay City Code 9-4C-4, Commercial Zone, Special Uses, allows wholesale and retail facilities in excess of 20,000 sq feet by special use permit. At this time, Walmart wishes to increase the footprint of the current structure in order to add ±1,128 square feet at the northeast corner to better accommodate online pick up orders which causes an increase in the non-conformity. Additionally, the modified site plan proposes construction of a new generator pad at the rear of the facility. The site is located on the southeast corner of Highway 95 and Kootenai Cutoff Road in Section 11, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, Boise Meridian.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 14, 2023, in the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, by Zoom teleconference, and YouTube Livestream to consider the following requests:
File CUP0017-22 and SS0009-22 - Planned Unit Development – The landing at the Narrows. The applicants are requesting a large scale residential Planned Unit Development on Recreation zoned lots/parcels amounting to a total area of approximately 3.17 acres. The applicants are proposing to create seven (7) residential lots with recreational open space, storage and utilities area. The project is located off Copper Bay Road, a public road in Section 9, Township 61 North, Range 4 West, Boise-Meridian. The Zoning Commission, at the May 18, 2023, public hearing, recommended approval of this file to the Board of County Commissioners.
