NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., to consider the following requests: File UP23-098, Walmart Real Estate Business Trust, Special Use Permit, Retail Space over 20,000 sq ft: Wal-Mart is requesting special use permit approval in order to bring a legal non-confirming or “grandfathered” use into compliance with current land use regulations and allow for expansion. Ponderay City Code 9-4C-4, Commercial Zone, Special Uses, allows wholesale and retail facilities in excess of 20,000 sq feet by special use permit.
