Ruehle backs dedication to city with action

| November 3, 2023 1:00 AM

I have known Deb Ruehle for at least 20 years. Since getting to know her it became immediately clear that Deb is dedicated to her children and her community.

Recently I had the day off and saw that Jason Welker was looking for volunteers at the new bike skills park adjacent to the tennis courts at Travers Park. I decided to help out since I had the day off — instead of just going out and riding the new trails.

Deb was there, working, and socializing with the workers and other volunteers. She is different that way, going out, getting her hands dirty and getting things done. This is how I see Deb as a city councilwoman.
