Lieutenant Colonel Mike Morgenstern is a 20-year veteran of the Air Force, serving during the wars in Southeast Asia.
Morgenstern flew over one hundred combat missions, with a mission was to disrupt truck traffic carrying munitions used by the North Vietnamese Army fighting in the south. For his missions he was awarded the Distinguish Flying Cross.
