Ray Spencer joined the U.S. Army in January 1976 as a combat engineer. His tours included stops in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, 307th Combat Engineer Battalion.
From 1997 to 2003, Spencer was assigned to counter intelligence units. He retired in 2003 while in I earned my bachelor and master's degrees.
He is now vice president of the Fry Healthcare Foundation.
