POAC presents MCT's 'King Arthur’s Quest'

Prepare to be transported to the enchanting realm of Camelot with the highly anticipated production of "King Arthur's Quest" presented by the Pend Oreille Arts Council at the Panida Theater on Saturday, Nov. 18.

This mesmerizing fairytale classic promises to captivate audiences of all ages with its courageous knights, mystical creatures, and rousing adventures. The renowned Missoula Children's Theatre brings this extraordinary theatrical production to life and will feature a host of talented young performers from the community. Audiences are in for a treat as they witness the compelling tale of King Arthur unfold right before their eyes. 

Auditions for "King Arthur's Quest" are being held today Nov. 13, at Forrest Bird Charter School. All aspiring actors and actresses, ranging from grades K-12 are welcome and encouraged to participate. Those auditioning should arrive by 3:15 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. 

No advance preparation is necessary, as MCT provides all the guidance needed for a successful audition. With approximately 50-60 enchanting roles up for grabs, local students have a chance to showcase their talents and immerse themselves in a magical theatrical experience. Selected cast members will additionally partake in rehearsals immediately following the audition. Rehearsals typically run for approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day, from Monday to Friday.

"King Arthur's Quest" is a not-to-be-missed spectacle that will take place on Saturday, Nov. 18, featuring two performances at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively.
