YOUTH BASEBALL: Sandpoint Sasquatch 12U hosting Sweet Lou’s takeover today

PONDERAY — The Sandpoint Sasquatch 12U travel baseball team will be hosting a fall fundraiser at Sweet Lou's in Ponderay today from 5 to 9 p.m. Members of the team will help to serve you while you dine. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the team's planned trip to Arizona. Recently, the Sandpoint Sasquatch organization, according to a Facebook post, also received big support from the local community as they reached an agreement with the Turnbull family to allow Turnbull Field in Sagle (next to Sagle Elementary) to serve as their primary practice facility next year once conditions allow.
