Area businesses taking part in Small Business Saturday
The Downtown Sandpoint Shopping District is thriving with multiple new businesses joining as well as retaining the ones that have been with us for many years.

SANDPOINT — The downtown shopping district will be sprinkled with deals this weekend, encouraging residents to shop locally for Christmas gifts on Small Business Saturday.
Many shops are featuring unique raffles or putting their own twist on the day.
La Chic Boutique will host a blanket giveaway, which shoppers can enter to win in the store. They will also be hiding gift cards around the shop.
Beauty Botanicals Bath & Body Shop will have a drawing and 5% off every $50 spent. Papillon Beauty Boutique will have markdowns throughout the store.
Shoppers can enjoy 25% off everything at Grace and Joy clothing boutique.
At Northwest Handmade, dining table sets are 5% off. They will have “three or more” bundle deals on furniture and an entire shelf of gifts under $75.
The District Bistro will have a premium wine sale for 25% off. From 1 to 4 p.m., it will host wine and cheese samplings. The store will also be donating $2 from every purchase of a “martini that matters” to Food For Our Children.
Heart Bowls is participating by selling special gluten-free baked donuts.
