SANDPOINT — The Bonner County commissioners’ Tuesday meeting will be back in full swing after the Thanksgiving holiday.

A full agenda is scheduled for this week, with commissioners having five items on the agenda. Commissioner Luke Omodt plans to discuss drafting and issuing a statement in response to an Aug. 9 conversation between the commissioners and the accounting firm, Hayden Ross.

Commissioner Asia Williams put four items on the agenda — holding a quarterly budget review open to the public, holding a quarterly project recap open to the public, changing the order of commissioners’ reports every meeting, and archiving public records requests on the county website as people request them to lighten the burden on county staff.

In addition, the commissioners will hear from the county clerk and its risk management department regarding multiple resolutions and monetary requests.

The meeting is set to end with an executive session regarding multiple planning and sheriff’s topics. Executive sessions are closed to the public to give officials a chance to discuss confidential information; however, all decisions must be made in open session.

Board of Bonner County Commission meetings are held at the Bonner County Administration building, 1500 U.S. 2; and also are live streamed via YouTube. To access the streams, visit the Bonner County YouTube page at bit.ly/3NElj9X.
