PREP BASKETBALL: Reuter scores season-high in Clark Fork girls loss to Lakeside
CLARK FORK – Lilly Reuter scored a season-high eight points for the Wampus Cats in Tuesday’s 59-16 loss to Lakeside at Clark Fork High School.
Clark Fork had trouble breaking the Knights full court press. As a result, the Wampus Cats found themselves down 40-3 at halftime. Despite the score, Clark Fork came out with a strong showing in the second half.
Eloise Shelton finished an and-one layup and sunk the free throw to get Clark Fork going early in the third. Shortly after, Reuter drained two 3-pointers within a minute of each other. She ended up finishing the night with a team-high eight points; all of which came in the second half. Amari Printz-Hay tallied four points, two steals, an assist, and nine rebounds for the Wampus Cats.
