David Keith Krieger, 69

David Keith Krieger, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at his home in Laclede, Idaho. A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.

David was born Dec. 3, 1953, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Odell and Evelyn Krieger. He graduated high school in Ft. Worth before attending the University of Texas at Austin where he studied geology. 

David worked for IBM in Austin. He met Susan McClendon in 2008 they lived in Austin from 2010 until they moved to Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., from 2012 to 2017, finally settling in Laclede. He was also a Realtor in his earlier years and later taught classes around the country from 2012 until 2015.  

He enjoyed remodeling homes, investing, politics, telescopes, and looking at the stars.

He is survived by his fiancé, Susan McClendon of Laclede, Idaho; a sister Deana Cade of Abilene, Texas; and a brother Kenneth Krieger of Gresham, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Russell Krieger.
