Allegro presenting “The Nutcracker”

It promises to be a magical event as the Allegro Dance Studio presents its annual production of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, “The Nutcracker”. 

The community is invited to experience the festivities and support the dreams of these young dancers. In addition, there will be live Christmas music, performed by Selkirk Brass, at the historical Panida Theater. Performances will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1; 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3. The Sugar Plum Gala, a black tie, pre-show event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, followed by a 7 p.m. Gala performance.

Tickets can be purchased at allegrodancestudio.org under Nutcracker 2023, or directly at the ticketing site, 26360.danceticketing.com.  

There will be a Sugar Plum black-tie gala pre-show event with limited tickets and premier seats available for purchase before the Saturday evening performance. Gala guests will enjoy a commemorative gift, complimentary savory hors d’oeuvre, decadent desserts and drinks, live music, and a photo booth with the Nutcracker and Sugar Plum Fairy! The evening gala is hosted by 113 Main Street.

All proceeds from the gala will go toward scholarships for Allegro Dance Studio students.

Sugar Plum Gala guests will receive a premium seat to the evening Dec. 2 show; entrance to the fundraising gala at 113 Main; a complimentary beverage; complimentary gift, hors d’oeuvres, dessert bites, and charcuterie boards; a hot chocolate station for younger guests, live music; and access to a photo booth with the Sugar Plum and the Nutcracker.
