Holiday Ball taking place this Saturday

SANDPOINT — Even those with two left feet can fulfill their “White Christmas” dancing dreams at the annual Holiday Ball hosted by Sandpoint Social Dancers this Saturday. 

Guests of all skill levels are encouraged to dress in semi-formal attire, but it is not required. Doors at the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 1st Ave, open at 6:45 p.m.

“We will feature a one-hour waltz lesson teaching the basics that begins at 7 p.m. with two hours of open dancing from 8 to 10 p.m., organizers said on Facebook. “[This event is] a great introduction to waltz and a great way to practice and meet new faces for experienced dancers.”

The dance costs $8 at the door. Non-perishable food donations for local food banks will also be accepted but are not required to attend. 

The event will feature refreshments and door prizes.
