ISP investigating Spirit Lake crash

SPIRIT LAKE — Idaho State Police is investigating an early morning Oct. 6 vehicle collision.
In the crash, which happened about 12:04 a.m. near State Highway 41 and Spirit Lake Cutoff Road, the driver of a grey Chevy Silverado was ejected from the vehicle when it left the roadway and rolled. The pickup was occupied at the time by a 44-year-old male from Priest River.
ISP officials said the man sustained serious injuries and was transported via air ambulance to a local hospital. Family members were notified of the crash. The roadway was blocked during the investigation.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, according to ISP.
