UI announces summer graduates
The University of Idaho is pleased to release the list of graduates for summer 2023.
A total of 199 degrees were awarded to 197 students.
Area graduates’ names are followed by their college, degree, major or majors, and hometown.

Davis makes the honor roll at SCC
Brayden Davis of Sagle earned a place on the Spokane Community College Honor Roll for summer quarter 2023. Students on the honor roll earned a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Community Colleges of Spokane is a 12,300-square-mile state community college district that includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and six rural education sites, serving residents in Pend Oreille, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry and parts of Lincoln counties.
CCS offers a variety of academic transfer, career-technical and eLearning degree and certificate programs; business and community training; and adult literacy programs throughout northeastern Washington, enrolling approximately 34,000 students a year.

Festival instrument library open to area students
In alignment with its non-profit mission to provide affordable and accessible music to the community, the Festival at Sandpoint offers a no-cost instrument library in an attempt to help keep music an affordable option for local families.
The Festival’s instrument library is available for anyone looking to play an instrument during the school year or summer. The school year check-out period begins in September and ends in June, while the summer check-out period begins in June and ends in August.
A refundable deposit will be required to check out an instrument or accessory from the library. The deposit will be refunded upon the instrument being returned in good condition. Instrument check-outs are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Thanks to several generous donors, the Festival has an extensive instrument library, including violins, basses, cellos, electric guitars, bass guitars, trumpets, horns, and much more. The library also includes a variety of music accessories, including an assortment of amplifiers, stands, strings, and cases. The Festival at Sandpoint is always accepting instrument and accessory donations to add to its library.
Students who are interested in checking out an instrument should please contact the Festival at Sandpoint’s office to see if any are in stock.
