Durable RV registration stickers available
The Idaho Division of Motor Vehicles and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation have created new durable registration stickers for recreational vehicles.
The new stickers will be available starting this month for all 2024 RV registration renewals.
The 2023 stickers quickly peel and fade when exposed to the elements. The solution was to print RV stickers on the same decal paper the DMV uses for vehicle registrations. The print-on-demand decal paper is tried and tested, used on millions of license plates across Idaho. If RV owners also purchase Idaho State Parks Passports, those stickers will be printed on the same page as the RV stickers, reducing waste.
This change is expected to annually save taxpayers more than $65,000.
