City leaf pick-up dates set

SANDPOINT — If your lawn is covered with leaves and you're wondering what to do with all of them, the city of Sandpoint can help.

Sandpoint officials have scheduled the city's annual city-wide leaf pickup dates. The first pick-up date will be throughout the week of Nov. 6-10 and the second, weather permitting, will be throughout the week of Nov. 13-17.

Residents are asked to place unbagged leaves in the street next to the curb line by Nov. 5 for the first week.

Crews will not be pick up leaves when the scheduled weeks are over, and it is the property owner’s responsibility to remove any remaining leaves from the street.

Branches and bagged leaves will not be picked up. City officials said the annual branch pickup will be in the spring.
