Married: yes I have a family, but we also have 2 cats, a tortuous, a bearded dragon, 2 guinea hens, a goose as well as lots and lots of chickens and 3 roosters.

Questions

  1. To change the direction of the failing system that has been in place for over a decade now.
  2. Student Safety, Educational outcomes, Fiscal responsibility. Because the district has ignored these issues for years the enrollment has been in continual decline.
  3. Better enforcement of policies, change the curriculum from Sel based to Classical education-based. We need to find real solutions to the bullying problem.
  4. By having actual conversations with people. I will maintain an open door policy for anyone who wants to have an actual civil discussion.
  5. It was until this last summer when the school district establishment decided they didn’t like the positive changes that were being implemented and recalled 2 of them.

  8. To work on communicating listening and civilly discussing the issues instead of people bullying, yelling and intimidating the board and community members.
  9. The small town feel of Blanchard, The people I’ve met who have become my friends, and having my family close by.
  10. What spare time? When I can I work in my garden.
  11. I used to think that abortion was an option in some circumstances. After discussing this with others I realized that life begins at conception. There, abortion is murder and not a choice.

  15. I am the most qualified for this position. My accounting background will give the knowledge needed for the board when it comes to budgets, and expenditures, and to make sure the funds are being spent in the appropriate funding source they are allotted for. Also as I have been actively involved in board meetings and researching policies and fiscal records since 2019 I am aware of what policies are being violated and will insist we do things by the book. This is one of the most important duties of the board, to make just policies and make sure they are enforced.
