Local workers should vote for Kyle Schreiber

At the candidate’s forum held Oct. 17, a question was posed to the candidates regarding vacation rentals in Sandpoint. Some candidates stated that there is nothing we can do because of state regulations and stated that this issue is “too complicated” to solve. 

Kyle Schreiber is the only candidate who stood up and said, “We can do something about this.” 

In a conversation I had with Kyle, he explained that he has been researching other Idaho cities, such as McCall and Hayden, to find out what models they are using successfully to support affordable workforce housing. Local workers should vote for Kyle Schreiber so that we have at least one person on the City Council who is dedicated to helping us find and secure affordable housing.
