HOSPITAL PARLEY NOV. 8
A public meeting dealing with the question of what to do with the old Bonner General Hospital building will be held in the cafeteria of the new BGH building on Nov. 8. When planning the new hospital, the hospital board believed the old building could be renovated and used as an extended care facility after the new building was completed. Increasing renovation costs and changes in federal and state requirements, however, forced the board to discard that possibility. They have proposed removal of the old building and construction of a modern 60-bed extended care facility on the old building site. This plan will be considered at the Nov. 8 public meeting.
