Letting leftists into GOP will destroy Idaho

Leftist extremists have opened U.S. borders while attacking our laws, customs and institutions in their win-at-any-cost campaigns: the Senate filibuster, the 50-state union, the Electoral College, the nine-justice Supreme Court, Election Day, and voter identification. Now they aim to weaponize Idaho's elections.

Their latest scheme in Idaho: A petition campaign for "open primaries" and "ranked choice voting." Instead of honest dialog and debate about real issues between candidates, the partisan game players behind this dishonest campaign just want to run the table.

Leftists claim opening the primary gives independents more of a voice. But studies show that independents remain independent of the system they spurn. Meanwhile, Democrats can vote for whoever they think their candidates can defeat in the general election. In Idaho, that would mean no more good conservative candidates.

Make no mistake: This is an attempt by well-funded, out-of-state Democrat donors to weaponize our primary and flip Idaho blue. Don't fall for it.
