Couple celebrates golden anniversary

Michael and Marceen Williams recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Joining in the celebration were the couple's children.

The couple were married Sept. 8, 1973, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

The couple have filled their years together raising two children, golfing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling around the Pacific Northwest and making memories all over again with their four grandchildren.

"You have been a shining example of what marriage should look like," the couple's children said. "Devoted to one another through ups and downs. We couldn’t have asked for better parents and grandparents for our children. We love you both."
