Open primaries will bring socialism to Idaho
Vote no on open primaries. Open primaries are, in my opinion, just another way to bring socialism to Idaho.
Democrats are, unfortunately for them, the minority in Idaho. By changing the way we vote in primaries, they believe they can get a Republican in name only into office to support their socialist agenda. That was proven in our recent primary and general elections.
Steve Johnson lost to Scott Herndon by 18% in the primary election, even though Johnson tried to change his party affiliation from Democrat to independent. Scott Herndon also beat Jim Woodward by 12.4% because the registered voters believed he voted with the Democrats too many times and was not a true conservative.
This shows me that Scott Herndon represents the values of North Idaho that the voters expect to see followed.
Changing the date of elections in North Idaho is only another way to change the election results. They want to move the elections from March to May so that the snowbirds get a vote in elections. Those people are only here three or four months a year, and they are still able to vote either by coming back to Idaho or getting an absentee ballot.
There is no form of voter suppression in Idaho, or, for that matter, anywhere in the United States, period. If you notice, the only places that supposedly have voter suppression are those where Democrats have a chance of losing.
Keep Idaho sane, unlike blue states.
