PREP SWIM: Bamer shines for Sandpoint at five-team meet in CDA

COEUR d’ALENE — Swimmers from the Sandpoint swim team posted several top 3 finishes competing against Lake City, Lewiston, Kellogg, and Wallace at the Kroc Center Saturday.

Sandpoint's Ryleigh Bamer shined Saturday, finishing first in 50-meter freestyle (27.19) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:05.87).

Kale Wright also posted multiple solid finishes for the Bulldogs. Wright finished second in the 200-meter freestyle (2:03.89), and second in the 100-meter freestyle (54.37).

The Sandpoint swim team will be back in action Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Skyline Invitational held at the Wes Deist Aquatics Center in Idaho Falls.
