PREP VOLLEYBALL: Priest River makes easy work of Grangeville

GRANGEVILLE — After losing the first set, Priest River won the next three to defeat Grangeville 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-21) in 2A Central Idaho play Saturday.

Jayda Storro led the Spartans to victory Saturday posting a team-high six aces and 25 assists. Desi Humphrey contributed six kills. On defense, Toni Marinello had a team-high 11 digs while Alyson Barton racked up three blocks.

Head coach Katlyn Ward said it was a much needed win for the team. Priest River (3-3, 1-2) will face Genesis Prep at home Friday.
