Fiddlers association sets jam session

SANDPOINT — The local District 1A chapter of the Idaho Old-Time Fiddlers Association will meet for an acoustic jam session Saturday, Sept. 30, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Sandpoint Senior Center, located at 820 Main St., in Sandpoint.
The chapter, which serves music lovers in Bonner and Boundary counties, has attracted an enthusiastic roster of fiddlers, guitarists, banjo players, mandolins, concertinas, ukuleles, harmonicas, and a string bass player together to play old-time fans who come to listen.
Acoustic musicians who want to take part and anyone who wants to come and listen are welcome to join the fun. Beginners are absolutely welcome and encouraged. The event is free and open to the public.
