Denise Margaret Parsley, 56, passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, in Sagle, Idaho.

Services will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at 12 o'clock, noon.

Denise, along with her twin sister, Debbie, were born Jan. 11, 1967, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Darrell and Hazel Parsley. They were the first twins born in Bonner County that year. Denise attended Washington Elementary School and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1985. She then attended North Idaho College and received her associate degree in paralegal studies.

After Denise graduated from college, she lived in Anchorage, Alaska, for six months and then return back to Sandpoint. She worked for Featherson Law Firm and then at the Bonner County Clerk’s Office for many years before becoming a medical records custodian at Kaniksu Health Services.

Denise had many hobbies, which included knitting, word puzzles, and crab fishing with Wayne on the coast. She was an avid 49ers fan and never missed a game. She enjoyed rocking out to Elvis whenever she had the chance, and she loved NASCAR races. Denise’s most treasured memories were time spent with her kids and grandbabies and being their Mama Bear and Grandma Kitty.

Denise is survived by the love of her life, Wayne Davis of Sagle, Idaho; two sons, Casey Rawlins and Adam Rawlins of Battleground, Wash., who were her pride and joy; two precious grandchildren, Anakin and Rose; her mother Hazel Parsley of Sandpoint; three sisters, Linda Zick of Roanoke, Va., Tammy Elliott of Chehalis, Wash., and her twin sister, Debbie (Rick) White of Spokane Valley, Wash.; one brother, Bill Parsley of Sandpoint; stepson, Parker Davis of Sandpoint; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Darrel Parsley; grandmother, Margaret Parsley; grandparents, Richard and Ester Jacobsen; a great-niece, Ella Smith; and several aunts and uncles that she held dear to her heart. Denise was Daddy’s girl, and we know that they all rejoice together in heaven.
