This week’s athlete of the week is Ivy Smith of Sandpoint Track & Field.
At the Lewiston Invitational earlier this season, Ivy broke her own school record in the shot put — a record she set during the Bonners Ferry Invite a couple of weeks ago — with a throw of 43 feet and 10 inches. Ivy’s throw currently ranks first in the state across all divisions.
