PREP TENNIS: Clark Fork sweeps Post Falls JV in season-opener
POST FALLS — The Wampus Cats won all nine of their one-set matches to complete a sweep of Post Falls’ junior varsity squad in their season-opener Monday.
“I really didn't expect that we would win each and every match in our first outing,” head coach Jeff Emmer said. “For Eloise (Shelton), Chase (Sanroman), Priscilla (Mayorga) and Aurora (Lane), it was their first-ever matches. Post Falls had already played five matches this season; I'm pretty impressed.”
Clark Fork will play last year’s district champion, Coeur d’Alene Charter, on Thursday.
