SANDPOINT — Bonner County commissioners are slated to discuss a boating safety grant agreement and hear public comment at their regular meeting today.

Commissioners will discuss an Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Recreational Boating Safety Grant agreement at the request of Bonner County Sheriff Lt. Doug McGeachy.

The planning department will present two action items concerning final plats, including Whiskey Jack Estates and Clagstone Estates.

Matt Mulder, Bonner County engineer, will introduce discussion and possible action regarding a 2024 roadway pavement markings project bid award.

Commissioner Asia Williams has requested that the commissioners discuss and review decisions regarding the board’s refusing public comments.

The meeting will end with two executive sessions. One will cover a human resources issue regarding tuition reimbursement. The other will cover conversations regarding the trespassing of Dave Bowman and Richard Cramer, county responsibility to provide legal counsel to elected officials, citizen arrest, and payment of an invoice.

Executive sessions are closed to the public to give officials a chance to discuss confidential information; however, all decisions must be made in open session.

Board of Bonner County Commission meetings are held at the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 U.S. 2; and also are live-streamed via YouTube. To access the streams, visit the Bonner County YouTube page at bit.ly/3NElj9X.
