Terry Nordeen

| April 9, 2024 1:00 AM

Terence (Terry) William Nordeen was born July 28, 1948. He died April 2, 2024, due to complications from cancer treatment, surrounded by his family.

Terry grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho, after moving there from Wenatchee, Wash., as a young boy. He worked for many years at Sandpoint Motor Company and continued to enjoy working on cars throughout his life. During his young adult life, he worked in Alaska on the pipeline before meeting and marrying Marcy and starting a family.

Terry was a lover of life, enjoying his life to the fullest. He was a faithful attendee of Seattle Seahawks games, loved talking to people, spending time with family and friends, reading, skiing, boating, and fishing, especially on Lake Pend Oreille and Vancouver Island. Terry particularly enjoyed world travel. His travel highlights included: Hawaii, Ireland, Italy, England, and Antarctica.

He is survived by his wife, Marcy Nordeen; his daughters, Ondrea Kidd (Chad Kidd) and Richelle Nordeen (John-Paul Sharp); grandchildren, Silas Kidd, Savannah Kidd, Liliahna Kidd, Elijah Kidd, Evangelina Kidd, Peter Kidd and Maddy Sharp; great-granddaughter Jordyn Kidd; and mother-in-law Margaret Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Polly Nordeen; and siblings, Tom Nordeen, Mary Hatfield and Liz Nordeen.

The family plans to honor Terry’s life later this year with an outdoor celebration of life party.
