Sauter delivers solutions, common sense bills
Most of us want our elected representatives to be hard-working, effective, and responsive to us, their constituents. Our current state representative from District 1A is just that.
That’s why I’m supporting Mark Sauter, who represents Bonner and Boundary counties for re-election. Mark has my vote on May 21, and I hope he has your vote as well.
Mark doesn’t like to brag about his achievements. He just gets things done.
For example, his sponsorship of House Bill 645 corrected a problem that occurred after a recall election in the West Bonner County School District last fall. The new law makes it clear that recalled trustees cannot enter into a contractual agreement that would cost the taxpayers in that school district additional money.
Recently, HB 687, another bill Representative Sauter co-sponsored was signed into law by the governor. This law benefits our region’s water management because it allows the Idaho Dept. of Water Resources to petition district courts to adjudicate water rights in the Kootenai River Basin, an important resource for all of us here in North Idaho.
Those are just two examples of successful bills Mark has sponsored during the 2024 legislative session. Both demonstrated his hard work and diligence, making sure that he got things right. Both are also in response to issues folks in Bonner and Boundary counties were concerned about.
Please remember to vote May 21, and vote to re-elect Mark Sauter.
I know I will.
