COEUR d’ALENE — Clark Fork seniors Chase Sanroman and Eloise Shelton did so well, Coeur d’Alene Charter had to bring up some of their more experienced players in order to take the mixed doubles pair down Thursday.

The Wampus Cats and Panthers agreed to line up players with similar experience levels for their match on Thursday. Clark Fork cruised to eight straight match wins until head coach Jeff Emmer asked Coeur d’Alene Charter head coach Bring King to bring up some better players to face Sanroman and Shelton, who won their first two one-set matches without losing a single game.

Emmer said for what his players lack in experience, they make up with their athleticism.

Clark Fork will head to Lewiston for an All-League matchup Saturday.
