Priest River students celebrate dance

| April 17, 2024 1:00 AM

Priest River Elementary students recently celebrated dance, taking the audience around the world.

Sponsored by the Idaho Commission of the Arts, the 3-5th Grade Dance Performance was performed under the direction of Anne Chamberlain, and the school's specials team. The performance took the audience from Ireland to Africa through the performance.

The school's third graders performed the "Lion King" stomp dance, the fourth graders performed the "Achy Breaky, Cupid Shuffle," an Irish river dance, and the fifth-grade choir sang "Bring Me Little Water, Silvy," and performed the chicken dance.
