 WET WEATHER STOPS TRACK OPENERS

Opening meets of both the boys’ and girls’ SHS track seasons were canceled due to wet tracks, said Athletic Director Cotton Barlow. “High Schools all over the Northwest have the same problem, just too much rain.” He said the Sandpoint Thinclads will not open their season until after spring vacation. At that time the action will begin with two meets per week for the men, and nearly that many for the women.
