'Little Mermaid Jr.' returns for second weekend
The fun of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” featuring songs from Disney’s classic Academy Award-winning animated feature film, returns for a second weekend.
“Mermaid” takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. First, however, she’ll have to defy her father, King of the Sea, and swim her way through several challenges.
Sponsored by Northwood Performing Arts, Inc. and led by director Nina Pletsch, this year’s Mountain Harmony cast consists of 26 talented young people eager to provide a musically entertaining show for the whole family.
Performances are slated for April 19-20. Tickets are $35 per person for dinner and the show, or $14 for tickets to the show only. Senior and student tickets are $12. The performance Saturday is a matinee show only at 2 p.m. with doors open at 1:30 p.m. For all other performances, doors open at 5:30 p.m., dining service begins at 6:30 p.m., and the curtain lifts at 7:30 p.m.
