Elect Jim Woodward as District 1 state senator

I urge you to vote for Jim Woodward for State Senator on May 21.

Jim is a native Idahoan who was raised here in Boundary County. Jim attended the University of Idaho, and served 21 years of active and reserve duty in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a commander. Jim served in the Idaho Senate for two terms, where he did an exemplary job representing Boundary and Bonner counties. He currently serves as a Northern Lights director and a commissioner of his local fire district. His public service and life experiences make him the best candidate to serve us in the Idaho Senate.

Jim is a champion for public education, which is so important for our children and the future our state. We need Jim back in office to make sure our schools are properly funded so that our kids get the great education they deserve.

Don’t be swayed by the false information spread about Jim by his opponent, or by legislator ranking systems that don’t reflect our Boundary County values. He knows our county and will serve us well. Jim is the candidate with a positive vision for our state.

I have worked with many elected officials over the years, and Jim is very responsive to the needs of citizens. Jim’s absolute integrity and dedication to public service make him the best choice for state senator.
