Della Savannah Nordgaarden, 97

Della Nordgaarden, 97, passed away April 13, 2024, at her home in Priest River, Idaho.

She will be laid to rest April 27 at 11 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho.

She was born Feb. 9, 1927, in Ophiem, Mont., to Benjamin and Nina Hull. She moved to and lived in Sandpoint for the majority of her life and worked at the Sandpoint Manor as a nurse's aide for 22 years until her retirement. After the death of her husband, she relocated to Priest River. She was known for her caring disposition and contagious laughter. 

Della was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy A. Nordgaarden I;  her parents, Ben and Nina Hull; brothers, David and Nick Hull; and sisters, Alma Gentry, Irene Stevens, Vivian Hull, and Norene Coleman.

She is survived by her brother, Clifford Hull; her children, Sylvia Hansen, Sonya Fink, Cynthia Crolius, and LeRoy "Lanny" Nordgaarden II, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
