FOL hosts monthly book sale

The arrival of August brings days of sunshine and many opportunities of enjoyment — and a chance to pick up a few items for late summer reading. 

Toward that end, Sandpoint Friends of the Library invites community members to its monthly used book sale for a fun time in the friendly, cool atmosphere of the library, browsing a great selection of reads at wallet-friendly prices. 

Among the offerings this month, there are watercolor art books, cookbooks, adult graphic novels as well as more mysteries, fiction and sci-fi/fantasy. The collection continues to offer many junior fiction novels and cooking magazines. Unusual items this month are library garden area extras of a large shade sail and a parasol with sandbag. Both are in great condition and priced at $25 each. 

Come by the sale Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St. The sale is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
