SHS Sports Registration Day to be held Tuesday

SHS Sports Registration Day will be held at Sandpoint High from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 6 for all student-athletes that plan on participating in a sport during the 2024-2025 school year. 

All the requirements to participate in sports at SHS can be fulfilled at the event. Sandpoint High officials said student-athletes must bring their current insurance card (low-cost school insurance is available if needed), a parent for signatures, and $40 in the form of credit, check, or cash for their ASB sticker. For incoming freshman, juniors and new athletes, a copy of a physical dated May 1, 2024 or later must also be provided. If a parent is unable to attend the event, student-athletes may submit all of their forms to the front office after getting signatures.

Student ID Cards will be processed, so it is advised to be prepared for a photo.

No student-athlete is eligible to participate in any practice, tryout or game until all requirements are fulfilled and all paperwork is on file in the front office.
