ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Ryelle Short, The North softball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Ryelle Short of The North 14U travel softball team.

At the Summer River Bash tournament held July 19-21 in Coeur d'Alene, Ryelle, a rising freshman at Sandpoint High, had a hit in every game and went a combined 7-for-11 with seven RBIs and five runs scored. She had multi-hit games against both the Villains 14U of Spokane Valley and the Spokane Diamonds 14U.
