Free ballroom dance event set

SANDPOINT — This is one "Heat Wave" that everyone will enjoy.

Sandpoint Dance and Sandpoint Parks and Rec are inviting the community to the free ballroom dance event being held Saturday, Aug. 24, at Sandpoint Community Hall.

Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with a West Coast Swing line dance lesson taught by a professional instructor being held from 7 to 8 p.m. Open dancing will follow from 8 to 10 p.m. 

Singles, couples, teens with supervision and all levels of dancers are welcome. No pre-registration is required. Sandpoint Dance events are alcohol- and tobacco-free.
