PEP sets networking event
HOPE — A community networking event is being held by Pend Oreille Economic Partnership — a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and support to the region's businesses.
The event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21 at B's Beacon in the historic Hope Hotel, 126 W. Main St. A PEP Executive Committee meeting will be held from 4:15-5 p.m., followed by the networking and listening event from 5-6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend both.
"Come learn about what we have been working on and let us know your thoughts as to our community development priorities, the upcoming economic summit in September… or just come to network and socialize," Brent Baker, PEP executive director, said.
The 2024 What’s Happening Up North Economic Summit is being held Sept. 25 at the University of Idaho Sandpoint Organic Agriculture Center. This is an all-day event, and we will share more details soon.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public about a month before the event. PEP members will be giving an opportunity to pre-purchase their tickets, as the event is expected to sell out.
"We have great keynote speakers lined up and this will definitely be the event of the year for the business, nonprofit, educational and governmental organizations of our communities," Baker said.
