Corey Allen Millard, 53

Corey Allen Millard, 53, of Sandpoint, Idaho, and formerly of Silverton, Idaho, passed away Aug. 4, 2024, at his home in Sandpoint.

Corey was born in Sandpoint to Gary and Carol Millard. He grew up in Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1988 and attended the University of Idaho for a degree in geology. He married Lisa Voltolini of Wallace, Idaho, in 1992. He lived and worked in the Silver Valley for 22 years at the Galena Silver Mine. 

He is survived by his mother, Carol June Millard, of Moscow, Idaho; as well as sister Melissa (Justin) Goodwin of Moscow, brother Galen (Karen) Millard of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother Doug (Carol) Millard of Sagle, Idaho; three sons, Jacob Millard, Lincoln (Sydney) Millard and Mitchell (Taylar) Millard, all of Wallace; and five grandchildren. 

A family memorial is planned for a later date.
