| August 28, 2024 1:00 AM

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to peek into an artist’s studio to see where the inspiration for creativity starts, this is the weekend for you. The Pend Oreille Arts Council is hosting the Artists’ Studio Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30; Saturday, Aug. 31; and Sunday, Sept. 1.

Nineteen artists are participating at fifteen locations scattered around Bonner County. From Naples to Sagle, and all around Sandpoint, local artists who paint, make jewelry and ceramics, forge metal, work in fabric, wood and photography will all be showcasing their art. And the best news is that all the art is for sale, and the tour is free to the public.

Participating this year are Jenni Barry, fiber arts/Kimekomi; Tammy Zinke, painting; Terrie Kremer, fiber art; Dave Gonzo, metal; Lori Moore, painting; Barry Burgess, painting and drawing; Ed Robinson, painting; Lucy West Binnall, acrylic; Connie Scherr, oil; Larry Clark, Ceramics; Don Fisher, photography; Susan Gallo, mixed media; Daris Judd, painting; Jessie Watt, tie die; Mary Gayle Young, jewelry; Linda Gue, fiber art; Ronald Gue, wood; Kim Powers, painting and fiber.
