After God's Heart sets upcoming Bible study

After God's Heart's new Bible study is set to begin Sept. 4.

The new Bible study, called "The History of Israel," will meet Wednesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1230 Michigan St., Sandpoint.

Study materials are available online at AGHSandpoint.net or on paper at the door for $15. The study starts in 1 Samuel and proceeds through the major and minor prophets as they convey God's will for His people.

After God's Heart Bible study has been led for 32 years by women from various churches who believe it is a blessing to meet together in one accord to study God's inerrant Word. All old and new area residents are invited to join in fellowship and study. The first hour is a lesson discussion. The second hour is a lecture by one of five speakers who take a more in-depth look at the text.

This Bible study will meet each Wednesday unless the weather causes school closures. After God's Heart takes a break from Thanksgiving to New Year and concludes in May. Childcare is free for children from birth to kindergarten onsite.

Women willing to study and seek after God's heart are very much welcome.
